Rerunning a preflight optimization

Updated on April 5, 2022

If you change the access group's portal, the application, or the application’s skin after running the preflight optimization process, repeat the preflight optimization to remove any unnecessary static content—or add necessary static content—introduced by your changes.

The Preflight Optimization screen lists any existing optimizations, by access group, along with the optimized portal, compact JavaScript and Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) files, and the date of the most recent update. You can use the Enable check box to turn an existing optimization off during application testing or to turn optimization back on after disabling it.

  1. In the header of Dev Studio, click ConfigureUser InterfaceApplication readinessPreflight optimization.
  2. On the Preflight Optimization screen, click the Gear icon for the optimized portal.
  3. In the Optimization configuration dialog box, click Submit to repeat the optimization process.
