Securing case access

Updated on March 29, 2022

Improve the security of your Microjourney by configuring case access. When you define what case types and attachments a user can view and edit, you ensure that only the appropriate case workers can acquire specific information about your business processes.

For example, you can ensure that only managers can view documents that include sensitive customer data, and that only case workers with the right permissions can work on cases that process this data.
  • Configuring case type access

The Access Manager Work & Process tab provides information about the authorizations to operations in the application that users have, based on case types (work classes) in the application. Use Access Manager to configure the actions that access groups can do with case types.

  • Controlling access to case attachments

Enforce security requirements and prevent users from inadvertently modifying case data by controlling access to attachments in a case. By applying security polices to case content, you ensure that users only interact with attachments that are appropriate for their role in a business process.
