Visualizing questionnaire data by creating insights in Cosmos React

Analyze and manage data from questionnaires in your application by using insights. For example, you can view the service quality questionnaires from multiple respondents at once, and display their responses as an interactive chart that provides an overview of their satisfaction with the service.

Create a questionnaire in your application. For more information, see Creating a questionnaire.

Because a questionnaire is a regular case type, you create and use insights for questionnaires in the same way as for any other case type.

  1. In your application, create an insight for your questionnaire case type.

    In a banking application, create an insight for a Customer Satisfaction questionnaire, which gathers the users' satisfaction with their interactions with the bank.

  2. Optional:

    To adjust the data display to your individual needs, customize how the insight presents data from your questionnaire.

    Filter an insight to include only the questionnaires in which the respondents indicated a monthly income of at least $20,000, so that you can analyze the satisfaction of VIP customers. Then, you can group the results by the application components that the customers use, to decide which components of your application need improvement to satisfy the most valuable customers.

  3. Optional:

    To visualize data in a user-friendly way that helps you analyze the answers, create a chart that presents answers from your questionnaire.

    Visualize hundreds of responses from a customer satisfaction questionnaire as a pie chart, and save the chart to conveniently monitor the current results every time you run the application.
