Issue: Problems mapping property values to PDF forms from Adobe Designer

Working with PDF Forms and Documents describes how to generate PDF documents containing clipboard property values. It also describes how to merge multiple documents into a single document and to write the generated document to a file. The activities provided for these functions are GenerateEForm, ConcatenateEForms and WriteEFormToFile.

A problem has been discovered when using PDF forms that were generated by Adobe Designer. When using such forms, the generated document does not show the clipboard property values that were written to fields on the form. This problem appears to be caused by the format of the PDF document generated by Adobe Designer.

Viewing document properties using Adobe Professional shows the value of the document producer. If the value is Adobe Designer,.you will likely encounter this problem.

Pegasystems has not tested all PDF document producers, so other software products may also cause this issue.

Alter your processing to include a call to ConcatenateEForms after calling GenerateEForm, even when there is only a single form.
