Adding a file repository

Updated on November 23, 2022

Add a file repository to store case attachments in external storage or for DevOps.

  • Creating a repository

Create connections between Pega Platform and repositories to provide centralized storage, versioning, and metadata support for file storage and knowledge management, for example, to store and source file attachments in cases, or for use in DevOps.

  • Creating a custom repository type

Use a repository API to create a custom repository type for repository types that are not provided with Pega Platform. The Google Drive Repository Integration component that is available on Pega Marketplace is an example of a custom repository type. Custom repository types appear wherever you can select a repository, such as the content storage options in the Application definition in Dev Studio.

  • Repository APIs

Interact with any defined repository by using the default repository APIs that are included in Pega Platform.
