Exporting data records

Only available versions of this content are shown in the dropdown

To get application data into an editable CSV file, create an export file.

You cannot export data from Apache Cassandra databases.
  1. In the navigation pane of App Studio, click Data.

  2. Click Data objects and integrations.

  3. Click a data object.

  4. Click the Records tab.

  5. Optional:

To control how much data you export, apply filters to the columns or enter a term in the search field.

  6. Click Export.

A CSV file is downloaded to the directory where your browser saves downloaded files. The file contains a column for each field in the data object. The name of the file is in the format <class>-<ruleset>-Data-<data object>_<data and time including time zone>, for example, O8RSQG-TechDoc-Data_20181227T155952.093 GMT.
Update the data in the CSV file, then import it into your system.
