Exporting data records

Updated on November 23, 2022

To get application data into an editable CSV file, create an export file.

Note: You cannot export data from Apache Cassandra databases.
  1. In the navigation pane of App Studio, click Data.
  2. Click Data objects and integrations.
  3. Click a data object.
  4. Click the Records tab.
  5. Optional: To control how much data you export, apply filters to the columns or enter a term in the search field.
  6. Click Export.
Result: A CSV file is downloaded to the directory where your browser saves downloaded files. The file contains a column for each field in the data object. The name of the file is in the format <class>-<ruleset>-Data-<data object>_<data and time including time zone>, for example, O8RSQG-TechDoc-Data_20181227T155952.093 GMT.
What to do next: Update the data in the CSV file, then import it into your system.
