Troubleshooting errors in your data model

Updated on November 23, 2022

To improve application quality, resolve the errors about the different elements in your data model.

The following issues can arise as you develop your data model:
  • The response format is not JSON, or the JSON structure is invalid.
To help with troubleshooting, you can view the actual JSON request and response by clicking the Information icon on the Data Mapping page of the Data Object wizard.
    1. In the navigation pane of App Studio, click Data.
    2. Click the data object you want to view.
    3. Click Data views.
    4. Click MoreUpdate source.
    5. Click Initialize call.
    6. Click the Information icon.
  • There are no unlocked rulesets in your application.
    1. In the header of your workspace, click the Switch Studio menu, and then click Dev Studio.
    2. Optional: Create an unlocked ruleset version. For more information, see Versions tab on the Ruleset form in Dev Studio help.
    3. Optional: Check with your administrator and unlock the highest version ruleset that is allowed.
