Adding a file repository

Updated on April 6, 2022

To store case attachments in external storage or for DevOps, add a file repository.

  • Pega Cloud clients can use Pega Cloud File Storage as the default repository for case and Pulse attachments. When you select a repository from a list and as a record in RecordsSysAdminRepository in Dev Studio, Pega Cloud File Storage appears as pegacloudfilestorage.

For more information, see Pega Cloud Services File Storage.

  • Pega Cloud clients can use their own file repository instead of Pega Cloud File Storage. Create a file repository to use that repository throughout Pega Platform.

For more information, see Creating a repository.

Restriction: Pega Cloud does not support local file systems as external repositories. Do not select defaultstore when you select a file repository.

  • On-premise and client-managed cloud systems store case and Pulse attachments in their own file repository. Create a file repository to use that repository throughout Pega Platform.

For more information, see Creating a repository.
