Adaptive models do not contain active predictors, or only one active predictor

Updated on September 10, 2021

The list of active predictors in the Behavior report is empty.

Cause

This issue occurs when one of the following conditions applies:

  • You cold started ADM and there are no responses yet.
  • The performance threshold in the Adaptive Model rule is too high.
  • You uploaded responses in order (for example, negative responses first) and ADM has no data to make any distinction, because all the cases are negative.

Solution - ADM cold start

Wait until ADM gathers some responses and uses them to update the adaptive models on your system.

Solution - Too high performance threshold

You set the performance threshold in the Settings tab of the Adaptive Model rule to exclude poorly performing predictors. If this value was modified, you might want to restore the default value (0.52). For more information, see Settings tab on the Adaptive Model form.

Solution - Ordered responses

When you upload responses, make sure that the CSV file contains positive and negative responses listed at random. For more information, see Uploading responses of the customers.
