Enabling the coverage zones setting

Updated on April 27, 2017

The coverage zone setting option in the Pega Field Service application allows users to draw a zonal area within a service territory.

By default, the Enable Coverage Zones setting is disabled. After you successfully enable the Post GIS setting on the database, you must enable the coverage zone option from the Field Service portal.

  1. Log in to the Field Service Admin portal by entering your credentials.
  2. On the navigation pane, click Configuration and then click the Settings tab.
  3. To enable the coverage zone settings, select the Enable coverage zones field.

If there are any errors, you must correctly enable the Post GIS configuration on the database. For more information, see the Enabling GIS configuration on the database section in the Pega Field Service Installation guide on Pega Field Service product page.
