Enterprise Application accelerator - Completing the Base and RuleSets form

Updated on October 7, 2014

This presentation is part of the Application Profile and Enterprise Application Accelerator Self-Study Course.

Transcript

The Base and RuleSets screen gathers specific RuleSet information from the framework and implementation.

Begin by entering the Parent Class and RuleSet Name for the Framework.

For the Implementation information, best practice names are suggested for Classes and RuleSets based on an organizational hierarchy.  As a result, the accelerator automatically enters the Organization and the Division currently associated with the current developer, as well as automatically defaulting the Class and RuleSet Names.  You can select a different Organization and Division using SmartPrompt in each field.  Note that the Organization and Division records must already exist in the system.

In our example, we will use MyCo- for the organization class, HumanResources for the division class, and finally the application class TimeOff that eventually will become the class group.  A RuleSet name is also displayed for the Organization, Division, and Application. When finished, there will be four RuleSets:  one for framework and three for the implementation.
