INTG0004: SOAP connector time-out

The INTG0004 event is created when a Connect-SOAP method call times out before it receives a response.

Reason for the event

When you use the Connect-SOAP method to send a request to an external system and the request does not reach the system or the system does not respond within the set time limit, Pega Platform™ generates an exception. Pega Predictive Diagnostic Cloud™ (PDC) receives the exception and creates an INTG0004 event. For each connector that times out, PDC creates a unique ConnectSOAPTimeOut- case. If the application cannot identify the connector that has timed out, then the case contains the name of the rule that called the connector and the name of that rule's parent rule.

For more information, see Event grouping in Pega Predictive Diagnostic Cloud cases.

Recommended next steps

Perform the following actions:

  • Evaluate individual instances of the time-out:
    • Assess whether the failures are sporadic or whether the external application is unavailable.
    • Assess whether the issue affects a single node or whether it affects all users, services, and batch processes.
  • Contact the owners of the external application, and network and data center staff, as appropriate, to address the issue.

For more information, see Connect-SOAP method.
