Scanning the system from the user interface

To scan your system, request a scan from the Hotfix Manager landing page. The scan generates a report that you provide to Pegasystems Global Client Support.

  1. To go to the Hotfix Manager landing page, click Configure System Release Hotfix Manager .
  2. Click Scan System.
  3. A message indicates whether you have a hotfix catalog installed and when it was created. Click Check online to get the most recent catalog. For more information, see Obtaining a hotfix catalog.
  4. Click Scan.
  5. When the scan is complete, click Finish to return to the Hotfix Manager landing page.
  6. Click Actions > Download Scan Result to download a local copy of the scan result, which is in a .zip file.
  7. Send this file to Pegasystems Global Client Support when you request a hotfix package. For more information, see Obtaining hotfix packages.

    Before you install a hotfix, run a report that lists the hotfixes that are already installed on your system.

  • Applying hotfixes

    Hotfixes are software updates that Pega creates to fine-tune the behavior of a release of Pega Platform.
