Adjusting the usability of offline-enabled mobile apps

Updated on February 23, 2022

Take advantage of several mechanisms that optimize the usability of your offline-enabled mobile apps.

For example: As a uPlus developer, your task is to create an offline-enabled mobile app for filling and advancing expense reports, even if the device is not connected to a network. To ensure that the synchronization process does not drain the battery of the mobile device, you limit battery consumption and network usage by decreasing the default synchronization frequency and by introducing synchronization throttling.

See the following topics to learn more about how you can adjust the usability of your app by configuring and customizing the run-time behavior.

  • Previous topic Configuring external temporary storage options for attachments in offline mode
  • Next topic Extending mobile apps with JavaScript APIs
