Enabling the mobile authentication service for Pega Mobile Client authentication against an external OIDC server

Enable the mobile authentication service to increase the security of your application, by configuring Pega Mobile Client to authenticate mobile users directly against an external OpenID Connect (OIDC) identity provider (IdP).

Before you begin: Configure the security settings. For more information, see Configuring the client registration for Pega Mobile Client authentication against an external OIDC server.
  1. In the navigation pane of Dev Studio, click RecordsSysAdminAuthentication Service.
  2. In the list of authentication service instances, click Mobile.
  3. On the authentication service configuration screen, select Enable this authentication service, and then click Save.
