Verifying Pega 1:1 Operations Manager implementation

To verify that your Pega 1:1 Operations Manager is correctly implemented, validate the application stack, confirm that you can access the Pega 1:1 Operations Manager portal, and test the change request creation.

  1. Log in as an operator in the <your Pega 1:1 Operations Manager implementation application>:OpsMgrAdmin access group.
  2. Verify that the overlay application is created.
  3. Verify that the access <your Pega 1:1 Operations Manager implementation application>:OpsManagerAdmin, <your Pega 1:1 Operations Manager implementation application>:BusinessUser, <your Pega 1:1 Operations Manager implementation application>:TeamLead, <your Pega 1:1 Operations Manager implementation application>:NBASpecialist and <your Pega 1:1 Customer Decision Hub overlay application>:RevisionManager are created.
  4. Make sure that all the access groups point to the overlay application.
  5. Open each access group and verify that the respective access roles are available in the Available Roles section.
  6. On the Advanced tab check if the work pool is PegaMKT-Work-Ops.
  7. For the <your Pega 1:1 Operations Manager implementation application>:NBASpecialist and <your Pega 1:1 Customer Decision Hub overlay application> access groups, check if there is an overlay branch rule set and version configured in the Design Time Configuration section.
  8. Click ConfigureDecisioningDecisionsProposition ManagementHierarchy.
  9. Verify that the built-on Pega Customer Decision Hub application has at least one issue and one group in the Proposition Management hierarchy.
  10. Verify that the pxDecisioningClass SR Class is configured in the same rule set in both the overlay application and the Pega Customer Decision Hub application.
  11. In Dev Studio, click on the name of your overlay application, and then click Definition.
  12. Verify that the applications are listed in the following orders:
    • Your Pega Customer Decision Hub implementation application
    • Your Pega 1:1 Operations Manager implementation application
    Note: The Pega Customer Decision Hub implementation application must be higher on the list of built on applications than the Pega 1:1 Operations Manager implementation application.
  13. In the Presentation section, verify that the selected skin is CosmosSkin.
  14. On the Case & data tab, verify that the following case types are available:
    ChangeRequestOpsCR-PegaMKT-Work-Ops-ChangeRequest
    CreateActionOpsCA-PegaMKT-Work-Ops-CreateOffer
    UpdateActionOpsUA-PegaMKT-Work-Ops-UpdateOffer
  15. Switch to the Pega 1:1 Operations Manager portal and verify that the teams on the My Teams page are configured according to your requirements.
