Developing your application

As a Pega Cloud Services client, you do not need to worry about installing or upgrading Pega software since Pega Cloud Services takes care of that for you. After you receive your credentials and can log in, you should review the appropriate Pega application Implementation Guides in order to develop your applications, include any client-managed, post-installation steps your application may require.

After Pega Cloud Services provisions your environment with your specified Pega software, you must complete required implementation steps to customize the application for your business. Pega provides Implementation Guides in order to provide the detailed steps you must follow to complete your application development.

If you are implementing the Pega Customer Decision Hub application (previously called Pega Marketing) on your Pega Cloud Services environment, please see Preparing your Customer Decision Hub application for development, as that article should be read before the Pega Customer Decision Hub Implementation Guide.

Depending upon what application you have chosen for your Pega Cloud Services installation, you may need different Implementation Guides to complete your application development. For example, for Customer Service for Healthcare, you must review each of the following guides:

  • CRM Implementation Guide
  • Healthcare Foundation Implementation Guide
  • Customer Service for Health Care Implementation Guide

Choose the implementation guides which apply to the applications you have licensed. Click Products list, then click on the link for each of your products, and then click on the specific, required, application Implementation Guide.
