Specifying your maintenance window
Pega Cloud Services sets up a default maintenance window for system updates and maintenance. At this point, determine whether you wish to change the default.
Periodic maintenance ensures that your Pega Cloud Services virtual spaces and associated Pega Cloud Services environments stay up-to-date with software updates and patches, and can make use of the latest features and services included in your Pega Cloud Services. For each client, Pega Cloud Services sets a maintenance window, a strict time span during which Pega Cloud Services Operations is allowed to schedule and subsequently perform maintenance on your environment that Pega defines as necessary. By default, your maintenance window is set to between 11:00 pm and 5:00 am in your local time zone. To modify the defined maintenance window, you can request a change by selecting New request in My Support Portal and specifying your required maintenance window time frame.
