Configuring eligibilities

Updated on August 4, 2022

When configuring analytics-driven targeting approaches for Strategies, or business issue nodes in Next-Best-Action Designer, you can use Proposition Filter rules to specify eligibility criteria for the selected actions.

Pega Customer Decision Hub
The eligibility conditions you specify in Next-Best-Action Designer are applied to the targeting approach. They can be overridden on the Eligibility tab for individual actions.

In the Eligibilities section, select on of the following options:

  • Click Add criteria to define new eligibility conditions by using a condition builder. After you save the configuration, Pega Customer Decision Hub generates When rules and Proposition Filters according to the specified criteria. For more information, see Configuring engagement policies for actions.
  • Click ActionsAdd action-specific eligibilities to add an action to the list that does not currently have eligibility conditions. After you add an action, you can open it and add specific eligibilities. For more information, see Configuring engagement policies for actions.
  • ClickActionsUse existing eligibilities to add an existing Proposition Filter.
What to do next:
