Creating an External Input strategy to test Final Limits

You can now use the External Input Final Limits strategy to replace the External Input in the Final Action Limits And Bundling strategy.

Pega Customer Decision Hub
  1. In the Pega Customer Decision Hub portal, click IntelligenceStrategies.
  2. Open the Final Action Limits And Bundling strategy.
  3. Click Save As and change the label to be the name of a new test strategy, for example, External Input Final Limits Test.
  4. Ensure that [No branch] is selected in the Development branch field.
  5. Click Create and open.
  6. Right-click to the left of the External Inputs shape at the left side of the canvas.
  7. Select Sub-strategyExternal.
  8. Double click on the new component.
  9. In the External strategy field, enter ExternalInputFinalLimits, and then enter a name for the component, for example, External Input Final Limits.
  10. Connect the new External Input Final Limits sub-strategy to the same components to which External Input is joined, that is, the Filter Out Paid Actions filter shape and the Paid Actions filter shape, as in the following figure:
  11. Right-click on an empty area of the canvas, and then click Disable external input.
  12. In the Input Disable Warning message, click Submit.
  13. Save and check in your changes.
Result: You have created a test strategy that can be used to test sub-strategies within the Final Action Limits And Bundling strategy.
