In marketing terms, a prospect is a potential customer, which you want to target. Pega Customer Decision Hub provides support for importing prospect lists, creating prospect segments. If campaigns are enabled in your application, you can also use them to target prospects.
Configuring the prospect class
Application administrators need to configure the class for storing prospects in the system. Refer to the Pega Customer Decision Hub Implementation Guide on the Pega Customer Decision Hub product page for detailed instructions.
- Importing prospect lists
Prospect lists can be imported into the application via the Prospect Lists landing page. This landing page is accessible in the Pega Customer Decision Hub portal via: Configuration Segmentation Prospect Lists .
- Creating prospect segments
After you import a prospect list, Pega Customer Decision Hub automatically creates a segment for the prospects. You can also manually create new prospect segments. Before you can use these segments in campaigns, you must first run the segment to populate it.
- Using campaigns to target potential customers
To target prospects with your marketing efforts, create a multi-channel campaign. Self-optimizing and outbound campaigns do not support targeting prospect audiences.
