Enabling people-based ad targeting on Facebook Ads

Facebook Ads destinations make it possible to target individuals with ads on Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and thousands of apps in the Facebook Ad Network. Paid Media Manager can leverage information on known individuals (for example, their email, phone number, device ID, and so on) to target these ads based on Next-Best-Action, and also segment eligibility. Paid Media Manager integrates directly with Facebook Ads and the Facebook Custom Audience API.

To configure the connection between Facebook Ads and Paid Media Manager, do the following steps:

  1. Create a Facebook Ads account and credentials.
  2. Configure a Facebook Ads destination in Paid Media Manager.
  3. Configure your target website to record an individual's click in the Interaction History in Pega Marketing or Pega Customer Decision Hub.
