Maintenance mode in Pega Predictive Diagnostic Cloud

When your system undergoes planned maintenance, Pega enables maintenance mode to prevent sending unnecessary messages to users. Pega Predictive Diagnostic Cloud™ (PDC) does not send any notifications about systems for which maintenance mode is active. Avoiding unnecessary messages saves users' time and increases their confidence in notifications to which they have subscribed.

When maintenance mode is active, PDC does not send notifications through the following channels:

  • Email
  • SMS
  • Notifications API

You can schedule maintenance mode manually for any of your systems. For more information, see Muting Pega Predictive Diagnostic Cloud notifications by scheduling maintenance of your system.

The following figure presents the banner that PDC displays when maintenance mode is active, and highlights some of the events that occurred during this period of maintenance mode:

In the following figure, the Under maintenance section of the Enterprise landing page indicates that a system is under maintenance:
