Creating application-specific copy of decision tables

Version:

Only available versions of this content are shown in the dropdown

You can create application-specific copies of decision tables, and then customize them for your application.

  • To change application settings, you must obtain administrative privileges and have an unlocked ruleset in your current application.
  • If you are upgrading from Robot Manager 8.3.x and earlier, remove the equalsIgnoreCase function that is defined on the column headers of application decision tables that are used for registering robots.
  • Copy multiple robot registration decision tables from a built-on application:

Only the settings that are saved for the source application are available for copying. Also, you can copy multiple decision tables only if the current application does not contain any application-specific settings. Otherwise, you must copy decision tables individually.
    1. In Pega Robot Manager, click Settings.

    2. Click Robot registration.

    3. Click the More icon in the main section, and then select Copy.

    4. In the Copy decision table(s) window, select an application from the application stack inheritance chain as the source of the decision table.

    5. Select the decision tables to copy.

    6. Click Submit.

  • Copy individual robot registration decision tables from a built-on application:

    1. In Pega Robot Manager, click Settings.

    2. Click Robot registration.

    3. Click the More icon in the decision table section, and then click Edit.

    4. In the Copy decision table(s) window, select an application from the application stack inheritance chain as the source of the decision table.

    5. Click Submit.

  • Copy the notification thresholds by notification type decision tables:

    1. In Pega Robot Manager, click Settings.

    2. Click Configurations.

    3. In the Threshold by notification type section, click the More icon, and then click Edit.

    4. In the Copy decision table(s) window, select an application from the application stack inheritance chain as the source of the decision tables.

    5. Click Submit.

Edit your application-specific copy of the settings. For more information, see Changing the values in application-specific decision tables
