Downloading robot activity logs
Identify the causes of automation failures by checking robot activity logs. At the
time of a failure, Pega Robot Runtime creates a robot activity log
that you can download from Pega Robot Manager in a
.zip file.
- Log in to Pega Robot Manager.
- From the Pega Robot Manager menu bar, select Issues.
- In the Failures tab, in the Log file column, click the Download icon for the failed automation that you want to investigate.
- Save the
.zipfile in a convenient location. - View the details of the failure:
- Unpack the
.zipfile. - Drill down to the
RobotActivity.txtfile and open it in a text editor.

Modify the RuntimeConfig.xml file so that Pega Robot Runtime can forward robot activity logs to Pega Robot Manager in case of an issue while processing a robotic assignment.
