Loading Robotic Automation projects from the command line

To start Pega Robot Runtime from the command line and specify the name of the project (or package) that you want your users to run, include the Project= parameter. This way, your Pega Robot Runtime users do not have to select the project from the Runtime menu that is available from the task bar.

To load a project, perform the following steps:

  1. Open a command prompt window.
  2. At the command prompt, enter the command to start Pega Robot Runtime and include the Project= parameter. Include quotation marks (") around the path and project name.

For example, to load a project named CRM.pega, enter the following on the command line for version 19.1 and later:

C:\{path to synch engine install}\Pega.Loader.exe --args Project="path"

Enter the following on the command line for version 8.0 SP1 and earlier:

C:\{path}\OpenSpan.Runtime.exe Project="C:\OpenSpanDeploymentFiles\CRM.Pega"
