Adding a global container with the New Project Wizard

Use a Global Container to add items to a project that are accessible throughout the project, including global variables and utility components. 

Adding a global container
  1. In the Add Project Items page, in the Global Container row, click the Add button.
  2. In the folder list on the left side, select the parent folder for this Global Container. 
  3. In the list of utilities, select the check boxes for system utilities to add to the Global Container.

By default, these options are selected: 

  • Diagnostic Log
  • Message Dialog
  • String Utils
  1. Create the Global Container with selected options by clicking Add.
