Configuring data loaders extensions

Updated on December 21, 2020

Pega Sales Automation includes multiple case types. Lead and opportunity case types are preconfigured and include stages and steps to speed up the implementation process. Other case types, for example organizations, accounts, and contacts do not include stages and steps. When you import cases, you can either disable the quick import feature and keep your custom changes to your cases, or enable quick import to make the import faster but lose any changes.

By default, the isQuickImportEnabled dynamic system setting for organizations, accounts, and contacts is set to true. For leads and opportunities the default setting is false. To configure data loaders extensions, perform one of the following actions:
  • If you want to run fast imports, set the isQuickImportEnabled dynamic system setting to true.
  • If you want to run a slower import but keep any changes that you have made to your cases, set the isQuickImportEnabled dynamic system setting to false.
