Pega Sales Automation for Insurance Hotfixes

The following tables list required hotfixes the Pega® Sales Automation for Insurance application requires. To request a hotfix, go to your account on My Support Portal. Click +Create and select Request Type > Existing Hotfix Request. Enter and verify the hotfix details and click Submit.

Import each type of hotfix in the listed order during the Sales Automation for Insurance installation or upgrade:

  • Apply Pega Sales Automation hotfixes during the full Pega Sales Automation installation or upgrade, before the Pega Sales Automation for Insurance installation or upgrade.

  • Apply Pega Sales Automation for Insurance hotfixes just after you complete the application bundle import.

A request lock error displays in the modal dialog when closing an opportunity from the Decision stage on clicking the Close button near the opportunity stages. A Task can be completed and also shown as Late because the Due Date is always shown as a Future Date while editing. Fixes related to the request lock error and validating Task Due Date have been added as a part of the Hotfix.

When Common Language Runtime (CLR) is disabled, Contacts, Leads, and Households lists on respective landing pages are not displaying. Also, after creating a new application with the New Application wizard, policies added for B2C accounts may not be displayed due to a hard coded class referenced during the policy creation process.

Changes are required to address the following issues:

  • The New Application wizard for Direct Capture of Objects:
    • Does not update the crmAppExtModel with new customer defined implementation classes so Dynamic Class Referencing does not work properly.
    • Does not create default access groups.
    • Does not create new application operators.
  • Several reports can include items that are not in the implementation class of the new application.
  • The header for the Reports screen is duplicated and some controls are displayed twice.
