Synchronizing contacts between Pega Sales Automation and Microsoft Exchange

Use contact synchronization to keep your contacts synchronized between Microsoft Exchange and Pega Sales Automation™ to improve your productivity and eliminate redundancy. In the process of configuring contact sync, multiple users are involved: system administrators, sales operations, and sales representatives.

Before you start configuration, enable contact sync for Microsoft Exchange:

  1. In the navigation pane of App Studio, click Settings > Application Settings.
  2. Click the Microsoft Exchange tab.
  3. In the Microsoft Exchange contact integration section, select the Contact sync check box.
  4. Click Save.

What to do next

After you enable contact sync, as a sales operations or a system administrator (some steps require administrator access) synchronize contacts by performing the following steps:
