An Activity rule picks the claims which are eligible for calculation, and calculates the LPI for each claim based on claim data, such as patient state and rate of interest applied to that state. This activity contains the core logic for calculating the LPI and, in turn, calls 2 activities: CE_CalculateLPIForPendingApprovedClaims and CE_CalculateLPIForPendingPartialPaidClaims activities, based on the claim status.
