Pega Warranty time reports

Updated on December 31, 2019

Time reports provided by the Pega® Warranty application show the data over a specified period of time.

The Time reports category includes the following reports:

  • Auto adjudicated claim versus manually assessed claim by month
  • Claim status
  • Monthly report for supplier recovery
  • Prior approval status
  • Target versus actual claim processing time

Auto-adjudicated claim versus manually assessed claim by month report

This report shows claims that have been auto-adjudicated or auto-paid by the system and claims that have been handled manually by an assessor. For example, when a dealer creates a Prior approval case before submitting a claim, an assessor then approves or rejects the case. If an assessor approves the prior approval, then a dealer converts the prior approval into a Warranty claim case and submits it.

Claim status report

This report shows all of the warranty claims with an individual status over the time period you selected. For example, after a dealer creates a Repair order case for a product that is under warranty, Pega Warranty generates a Warranty claim case to recover the total repair cost from the manufacturer. Each warranty claim includes a status and a party. As a dealer, select the time period for the report, such as today, 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, or a custom time period.

Monthly report for supplier recovery report

This report shows the total supplier claim amount versus the supplier recovery amount over the month. For example, if the supplier or dealer is responsible for the product failure, then the manufacturer recovers his cost. The cost recovered from the dealer is called a chargeback amount. The cost recovered from the supplier is called a supplier recovery amount.

Prior approval status report

This report shows all of the prior approvals for an individual status over a selected time period. For example, a dealer assigns a particular status and a party while creating a Prior approval request. As a dealer, select a Prior approval request and review the statuses over the selected period of time, such as, today, 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, or a custom time period.

Target versus actual claim processing time

This report compares the target and the actual warranty cost for the selected period of time. As a manufacturer, review the monthly data for the target and actual processing time to analyze the process inefficiencies.
