Implementing Workforce Intelligence

When implementing Pega Workforce Intelligence™, you use the Administration tab to set up and maintain the Robot Runtime associates whose data gets analyzed and presented to you. For reporting purposes, you also set up your organization's user hierarchy in Workforce Intelligence by using a master hierarchy file that you create and maintain.

The Workforce Intelligence support team can help you with initial import of the associates (data collectors) by using the hierarchy import.

Implementing Workforce Intelligence consists of the following steps:

  1. In Pega Workforce Intelligence, use the Administration > Organization > Data Collectors tab to add associates (data collectors) to the correct departments or teams in the master hierarchy file. If necessary, use the Departments tab to define the departments and teams for your associates. For more information, see the Pega Workforce Intelligence Administration Guide.
  2. Submit the updated master hierarchy file to the Workforce Intelligence support team by using the Pega Support Portal.
  3. Install Pega Robotic Automation Runtime on each associate's machine that you want to collect data from.
    Your software deployment team installs Robot Runtime software onto your associate's machines.
