What happens when you move a user to another team

Updated on December 10, 2020

In Pega Workforce Intelligence™, you can move data collectors (associates) from one team to another to reflect changes in an organization. Administrators can complete these changes directly in Workforce Intelligence using the import/export features for data collectors. You can export data collectors to get a correctly formatted CSV file, update the team assignments for data collectors, and then import the CSV file. If you move data collectors to a different team, these data collectors are displayed under the new team on their next shift.

Note: When adding data collectors to a newly-created team instead of an existing team, you must first add the new team to the hierarchy in Workforce Intelligence. After adding the team, you can use import/export from Data Collectors to assign data collectors to the new team. For detailed instructions on updating your hierarchy for data collectors and departments/teams, see the Pega Workforce Intelligence Administration Guide.

The following image shows the import/export options available from the Actions menu under Administration > Organization > Data Collectors tab in Workforce Intelligence.
