PEGA0076 alert: Decision Strategy Manager service node is unreachable

The PEGA0076 alert is triggered when, for any Decision Strategy Manager service, the status of a designated node changes from normal to unreachable. The issue can occur for all the DSM services (Decision Data Store, Adaptive Decision Manager, Visual Business Director, Data Flow).

Node <node name> of service <service name> became UNREACHABLE

The following variables are in the message text:

  • <node name> is the name of the node that became unreachable.
  • <service name> is the service name for which the alert has been triggered.

Reasons for the alert

To eliminate this alert, review the node logs to determine why the node became unreachable, take the appropriate action based on what you have learnt from the logs, and restart the unreachable node. Consider removing the node from the cluster and replacing it with different one. For more information, see Log Files tool and Managing decision data nodes.
