Replacing an authority encryption certificate for Deployment Portal
If you are using Pega® Robotic Automation Deployment Portal and Active Directory Federated Services (AD FS) or Pega Robotic Automation Security Token Service (STS) for single-sign on connections to Deployment Portal, be aware that the Authority SSL certificate for authority.openspan.com was updated on March 21, 2018.
If you are not using AD FS or STS, you do not have to make any changes to your configuration.
Until April 10, 2018, both the old and new certificates will be accepted. After April 10, 2018, only the new certificate will be accepted. When using AD FS or STS for single-sign on, the certificate is used to encrypt security tokens during authentication.
Before April 10, 2018, take the necessary steps, which are described in the following articles, to update the encryption certificate. Complete these steps before April 10, 2018 so we can better assist you if you have any questions.
If you have any questions or need assistance with the transition, contact Pega Robotic Automation Support.
