Creating usage reports

Gain insight into the usage and performance statistics of your application reports by creating custom usage reports. For example, you can create a report that displays a list of errors to identify issues with the application, and ease the troubleshooting process.

  1. In the header of Dev Studio, click Configure Reporting Report Usage .

  2. Click + Add Report.

    A report definition rule form opens in a new tab.

  3. Complete the report definition rule form by following steps Creating advanced reports through Creating advanced reports in Creating advanced reports.

    Ensure that you apply the report definition to the Log-ReportStatistics class.
Report shortcut appears in the list of reports of the Report Usage landing page.

  • Usage reports

    Usage reports generate statistics about the usage and performance of report definition reports in the current application. Usage reports are defined in the Log-ReportStatistics class.

  • Reviewing usage reports statistics

    You can analyze report definition usage and performance in the current application to determine which reports are not used, and remove them to maintain only the required reports.
