ROBO0003 alert: Robotic assignment type is at defined capacity

You can define the capacity for each assignment type (work queue) to which you assigned your robots. This capacity is the maximum number of open assignments in the work queue.

Reason for the alert

Robot Manager triggers an alert whenever the number of open assignments reaches the capacity threshold that you configured.

Instead of triggering the alert each time a robot reaches the threshold for a failed automation assignment, Robot Manager conditionally triggers one alert every 30 minutes.

Example message text

Robotic assignment type <WQName> is at <ThresholdValue>% of defined capacity.

Recommendations

Depending on the root cause of the issue, perform any of the following actions:

  • If the capacity threshold for the assignment type is low, increase that threshold to reflect the number of acceptable pending tasks. For more information, see Configuring notification thresholds.
  • If the number of robots in the work group is insufficient to handle the incoming tasks, assign additional robots to the work queue by manually moving robots to the work group or by creating a schedule. For more information, see Moving robots between work groups.
  • Monitor the existing robots. If you find an underperforming robot, check the robot logs and take the required administrative actions to troubleshoot and address any issues.
