SECU0012 alert: Update access control policies cannot be enforced in SQL INSERT and MERGE statements

Updated on April 5, 2022

The security SECU0012 alert is generated when update access control policies have been defined that try to enforce row-level security for a class, and the application generates SQL INSERT and MERGE statements for that class. Update access control policies are enforced only when OBJ and RDB methods are used to update instances of a class.

Example message text

Access control policies cannot be enforced in SQL INSERT and MERGE statements.
