Enabling attribute-based access control

Attribute-based access control (ABAC) provides another level of control beyond role-based access control, and is enabled by default. If you have disabled ABAC in the past, you can enable ABAC by updating a dynamic system setting.

  1. In Dev Studio, search for the dynamic system setting EnableAttributeBasedSecurity and open it.
  2. In the Value field, enter true to enable attribute-based access control.
  3. Click Save.

  • Attribute-based access control

You can restrict the ability of a user to view, modify, and delete instances of classes, or properties within classes. Use attribute-based access control (ABAC) to enforce row-level and column-level security in your application.
