Understanding Requestor Type data instances
Users and external systems connect to Pega Platform using one of four requestor types. Requestor type data instances define the types of requestors that can access your system, such as a browser session, an external application, or an internal background process.

Five requestor type data instances are defined. Each determines the rulesets, versions, access roles, and startup activities used by requestor sessions of that type.
CategoryThe Data-Admin-Requestor class contains requestor type data instances. They are part of the SysAdmin category.
- Agent schedule data instances – Key parts
You cannot create new agent schedule instances. Agent schedule instances are generated from agents rules by the Agent Manager master agent.

Use this tab to provide access to applications for any person or external system signing in through this requestor type.

You can use this tab to identify an activity that set up basic information and display an initial HTML form, such as the log in form.
