Training Question of the Week for January 21, 2008

Are there standard properties that we can use to measure the actual time taken to process a work object at each assignment? We know we can use the properties pxCreateDateTime and the pyResolvedTime to report on the entire process, but what about at each assignment?

Answer by Steve Youles
Three property values are captured in the history instance of a work object as it progresses through a process flow. The properties pyPerformActionTime, pyPerformAssignmentTime and pyPerformTaskTime contain the elapsed amount of time taken to process an assignment.

For example, if a user created a work object in a class group named MyApp-Purchasing the instances of class History-MyApp-Purchasing would contain these property values noted above for each assignment. You can create list view or summary view reports to display these values.
