Troubleshooting: BadTopOfStack message (IBM WebSphere and AIX)

Symptom

Occasionally, a BadTopOfStack message may appear while running Process Commander under WebSphere and AIX.

Solution

Resolution

IBM has packaged and released a new JVM that resolves the problem, and certified it on various WebSphere releases. 

IBM's 1.4.2 SR4-1 JVM for WebSphere 5.1.1 is out for public consumption:

We have tested this VM successfully against multiple BadTopOfStack test cases.
