Summary

Analyze Performance reports present application performance and throughput information in terms of tasks. They cover resolved work items processed by the currently selected application and selected flow rules.

For example, Analyze Performance reports indicate how often each kind of flow action is selected by an assignment and how it takes the operator to complete that action (timeliness of the selection).

Summary Reports

The following are descriptions of the summary view reports in the Analyze Performance category.

Action Analysis

Presents a tabular report identifying the percentage of time, for each assignment, that users selected each connector flow action. Compare these actual results with the expected percentages (known as likelihoods) presented on the flow diagram itself.

This report may help identify which flow actions take the longest to complete and which are used more often or less often than expected. Detail rows show the average duration and counts.

Action processing time

Presents a horizontal bar chart for each task and associated actions of that task. The length of each bar is made up of the average time, in hours, for each flow action to be completed. Each flow action is color coded.

A summary chart below defines the count and average time for each flow action to be completed. The chart is summarized by task and by flow action.

Performance detail

Presents a summary report of number of tasks, average time tasks spend in procession, and idle time. Data are grouped by flow name, assignment, action, and the performer.

A special activity computes idle time as the average of this difference. Processing time – Duration (pxAssignmentElapsedTime – pyPerformActionTime).

Task duration

Presents a summary report of the total time (in hours, minutes, and seconds) and count for each connector flow action. Grouped by Task name, Task Id.

Task performance

Presents a summary report of how much time, in hours, tasks are in processing and in idle mode as well as the total time that a task takes to complete.

Timeliness by task

Presents a bar chart and summary counts of completed assignments in the selected flow by selected connector flow action.

Columns identify how many tasks were completed within the goal time associated with the assignment, beyond the goal but within the deadline time, past deadline, and the total number of tasks.
