Enhancements to section navigation make it easier to configure a form in Pega Express. When editing a case, click Configure this view to drill down through nested sections that use a design template. You can also drag and drop sections into a form. When configuring a case in Pega Express, you can also drill down through sections that use a design template, and drag and drop sections that use a design template within the form.

Form fields within a section can be reorganized in the same way.

Drilling down through nested sections

When editing a case form in Pega Express, application developers can drill down through nested sections that use a design template. When a form is open in the case configuration view, sections are displayed in the same configuration that the user sees at run time. When a design template is used for these sections, the sections can be dragged from one position to another position. This simplifies the organization of sections and gives designers more control over how sections are arranged in the form.

1. Open your case and select the form that you want to edit.
2. Click Turn editing on.
3. Select a section to edit the fields and sections that are inside the section.

You can also select and edit sections that are based on templates and that are nested in a section. You can drill down through the nested sections from parent to child. To edit a sibling of a section, drill back up to the parent section, and then drill down.
