Create conditions in an enhanced condition builder (8.5)

You can now increase the precision of your conditions by applying a new comparator in both App Studio and Dev Studio. With the new comparator called instances include you can specify the number of fields in a group, such as phone models, and fields in an ordered list, such as a list of addresses of a customer, that meet the condition that you configure in a when rule. For example, as a sales representative, you need to provide at least three black phones of a specific brand to your customer. By creating a when rule with two conditions, one for the color, and one for the brand, and setting the instances include comparator to is greater than or equal to 3, you can seamlessly and quickly filter the results of Phone field group instances, as in the following example:

To speed up the process of building conditions, you can also easily look for existing values by using a search option that returns results on keypresses. For example, when you build a condition that applies to a case ID that starts with I-242, you can start typing and the system promptly filters the search to show only the case IDs that contain the value that you type, as in the following example:

With the improved condition builder, you can define conditions with greater accuracy and search for existing values more quickly.
