Can you customize the menu options that display when you click the Runtime icon?

Pega® Robotic Automation Runtime version 7.1.63 adds the RuntimeMenuTray section to the RuntimeConfig.xml file. Use the options in this section to configure the menu that displays when you click the Runtime icon in the system tray. For example, Workforce Intelligence associates can use this option to open the Enter Expected Hours window.

The following list is a summary of the items that you can place on the menu:

  • LoadLocalProject – Loads a local project.
  • LoadWebProject – Loads a web project.
  • Unload – Unloads projects.
  • RecentProjects – Loads recently accessed projects.
  • LoadMostRecent – Loads the most recently accessed project.
  • About – Displays the Robotic Automation About box.
  • ReportProblem – Lets you report a problem.
  • DiagnosticConfiguration – Displays the Diagnostic Configuration dialog.
  • TestConnection – Lets you test connections with Deployment Portal
  • ShowOutputWindow – Displays the Output window.
  • ExpectedHours – Displays the Enter Expected Hours window.
  • Exit – Exits Robotic Automation Runtime.
  • LoadedProjects – Inserts a placeholder where a list of the currently running projects displays.
  • Separator – Adds a separator line. You can add separator lines to group items to improve readability.

For more information on these options, see Runtime Configuration Settings XML File.
