Configuring social settings

After you upgrade to Pega Customer Service 7.31 from Pega Social Engagement 7.21 or later, to retain the existing social configurations, such as streams, connectors, Twitter response handle mappings, and Twitter oAuth profiles, perform the following steps:

Restoring social streams

  1. In the Designer Studio App explorer, in the search field, enter Data-Social.
  2. Expand Data Model > Data Flow.
  3. Open each of your streams.
  4. Click Save.

Restoring social connectors

  1. In the Designer Studio App explorer, in the search field, enter Data-Social-Facebook.
  2. Expand Data Model > Data Flow.
  3. Open each of your connectors.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Repeat steps 1 to 4 for Data-Social-Twitter.

Mapping Twitter response handles

  1. In Designer Studio, in the search field, search for and select UpdateTwitterHandleMappings.
  2. Click Actions > Run.

Restoring oAuth profiles for Twitter handles

  1. In Designer Studio, in the search field, search for and select SetUpTwitterKeys.
  2. Click Actions > Run.
  3. In the Set up Twitter Keys window, in the Value field, enter your Twitter handle.
  4. Click Run.
  5. Repeat steps 2 to 4 for each of your Twitter handles.
