How to correct the display of the Designer Studio Explorers panel after selecting another Explorer

Changing from one Explorer to another in the PRPC 6.3 SP1 Designer Studio portal displays the correct contents for the new Explorer, but the Explorer name does not change in the navigation panel.  This can be confusing. Resave the navigation rules in the Pega-Desktop to work around this problem.

Example

In the PRPC 6.3 SP1 Designer Studio portal, switch from Application Explorer to Rules Explorer or Class Explorer. You see the contents for the new Explorer that you selected, but you continue to see the Application Explorer name displayed in the navigation panel.

Suggested Approach

If you have upgraded to PRPC 6.3 SP1, you can correct this issue by performing Revalidate and Save on the Rule-Navigation class in the Pega-Desktop RuleSet. If you encounter errors indicating that rules are not saved properly during the Revalidate and Save process of the Rule-Navigation class, ignore the errors.
