Troubleshooting: Edits to CPM Interaction Driver not executing properly after upgrade

You upgraded from an older version of Customer Process Manager (CPM) to CPM 6.2.x or higher and you have Interaction Driver rules (Rule-PegaCA-InteractionDriver) that were created in the earlier release of CPM.

However, when you edit your Interaction Driver rules, the changes you make do not execute or do not execute successfully. For example, you added a new category in the Interaction Driver with a new data source, but it is not displayed in the user portal.

Suggested approach

Examine the XML of the Interaction Driver rule to see if the PCAVersion field is earlier than 06-02-03. If it is, then this is an earlier version of the rule that was migrated from a prior release of CPM.

To resolve this issue, create a new Interaction Driver rule so it gets the 06-02-03 (or later) tag. Do not attempt a Save As on the old rule, but rather create a new rule and fill in the fields appropriately.
